We had Stories, Fun and Cake! The Ocean Beach Historical Society celebrated our 30th year on Thurs., Feb. 15th to a HUGE crowd! Teachers, writers, business owners, artists, designers, photographers, old time hippies, community activists, owners of historic homes, and similar unusual and splendid individuals – in other words, OBHS Board Members – told personal stories of their relationships with the little town we call home, Ocean Beach. The monthly OBHS lecture series is always FREE and are held in the sanctuary of Water’s Edge Church, 1984 Sunset Cliffs Blvd, OB. See you next month!

I live out of area far away, but I am a long time follower of OB Historical Society, mother was a volunteer for many years; are these lectures recorded for future or not-so-local viewing? I get cards in the mail for upcoming lectures and i kick myself that i am unable to attend these fascinating events
