Feb. 21, 2019_What a fun night! and history at the Ocean Beach Historical Society 25th Anniversary and “Treasures from our Archives”
The Ocean Beach Historical Society was formed in February 1994, so starting in February and throughout 2019 we will celebrate the Ocean Beach Historical Society’ s founders, members, and achievements.
The Ocean Beach Historical Society’ s 25th Silver Anniversary logo design by Kathy Blavatt, incorporates a teen photo of OBHS Co-founder Ruth Held.
Kitty McDaniel, Dedi Ridenour, and Jonnie Wilson, presented the history of the OBHS and the group’s founders and introduced some fascinating finds from the OBHS Archives. They unearthed some amazing artifacts related to the history of our beach community and will be sharing these  “Treasures from our Archives.” Over the past 25 years, we’ve collected a whole lot more than old photos and books!
