The Island was nearly dredged out of existence before it was ever connected to Point Loma. Please join the Ocean Beach Historical Society as Eric DuVall presents Picnic on the Island, the story of Shelter Island, Thursday, September 17, at 7:00 pm – OB Joyfull, 1984 Sunset Cliffs Blvd in Ocean Beach.
